Too much thinking in the middle of the night when pain wakes you up is not  always a bad  thing. It helps take your mind off the pain. It is okay as long as you do not start to drag the "bad" stuff in. Then crazy dreams after taking something for the pain and you finally drift off . Waking up  groggy after all of this is a heart heavy hangover for a while . Then you realize you have found an answer to what has been troubling you.We do need to sort things out at times and too often think it would not be wise to drag up the past, but I feel more at  peace today after doing this.
