360 blog entry September 2008 Of course it was just my opinion

I wonder if the candidates ever say what they really think? I doubt it. The closest might just be Sarah Palin and Joe Biden. They both have a history of saying what they think. Or as its called here in Minnesota "Open mouth and insert foot syndrome". So far neither have said anything terrible. But both are being pretty quiet. I wish one of them would. The same blah blah blah rhetoric I am hearing repeated on the news channels is not only repetitive but very boring. How dumb do they think Americans are? Do they really think that we do not understand the very first time they offer their BS? Or is is that if you say something often enough , we might start to believe it. Evidently the people that they ask in the polls believe it. Half believe Obama and half believe McCain. I believe neither.

I know that neither one is a good candidate. No matter how often Obama says McCain is old, it does not make him smarter or more experienced. So McCain is 72, big deal he might out live all of us. We need to remember that people live long lives and stay alert. We also need to know that life can change in a heartbeat. Can Obama guarantee that they will not contact some horrible condition? Look at Ted Kennedy, Tim Johnson in just the past year for examples. So Obama dwelling on age is a moot point. He should tell me how HE will make changes Not that he will. Maybe some one should write a book on how to campaign in a positive way. I would buy all the politicians one of those. Maybe McCain chose wrong when he picked his VP, then again maybe he didn't. Time will tell. Maybe Obama picked the wrong person for VP,as Biden suggested, Then again maybe not. Again time will tell.

One thing I do know is that neither of these guys have a clue about how to make our economy strong. Hell they do not even go to work. They are not doing their job as Senators, but we are still paying them. This definitely is a bipartisan screw up. Maybe they should have to resign their jobs while they waste money on useless ads, jetting around the country saying the same thing over and over. They could record it all and then go on vacation for all the good it does.

Senator Obama has sure decided to take the low road in bashing the other party. And who does he blame? McCain! I am not saying McCain isn't getting his digs in with ads , but I do not hear him making fun of Senator Obama. I have heard him say he respects the man. So can anyone tell me how not talking about specifics but instead constantly bash the other candidate helps Americans make a rational decision.

Oh wait, we can ask the media. Depending on the answer you want ,you can choose different channels for their opinions. Of course the media knows Americans are dumb,They prove it every time they open THEIR mouths.
