Perceptions do change in many respects, that's true. What in the past may have felt difficult or and obstacle, may now in the present be easy and a strength.

I also think our attitudes have an awful lot to do with how we perceive anything.

Perceptions range between challenges and obstacles; beauty and beast. It's all in the mind and the soul.
And each person's perception of each thing will be different.
and perhaps on some days the same thing will be perceived in a different way?
