I have hearing and reading a bout the Democrat attack on Republicans for want ting change Social security. The thing is both parties when in power steal from the trust fund and never pay it back. They are both guilty as sin when it comes to screwing over the elderly and then blaming each other. Are we Americans that dumb that we actually believe either side? Of course they both want o change SS, Because it would most likely cause terrible financial chaos if they repaid with interest the money taken from the fund by both parties over the years.
I understand what is to be will be. Of course none of these elected people care because they will never have to rely on SS. We give them all even if they only serve one term,one of the retirement packages anyone could think of. Do they care about us? No way I can think of. Shame on all elected legislature AND the President if he goes along with any of it.

I have been thinking again and that is scary

The far left blames the far right. the far right blames the far left. The far left wants a new constitution ours is out dated. the far right says we have to live strictly by the letter of the constitution.
This is like the duels fought with guns ( on my another reason to fight, guns). The only difference is, it is a duel with words. Sometimes words are as deadly as bullets..There is no win to this word duel. it is a lose lose situation for the American people. We like our country. What we do not like is the fanatics that are constantly bombarding us with bull shit! 99.9% of the blogs and media is pure bull shit. A spin put on by their own ideals or lack of.
Isn't it time for America to speak out? Oh darn it has it is called the Tea party . Now the Tea party is not a party, it is more like a rallying cry for politicians to look and listen to main stream America.the is no president or leader. there are some that yell louder than others. Sometimes they make sense, sometimes they do not. That is America at work.
Now a few far left people( there are a minority of these people that make the most noise) make fun of the Tea party, call it names like stupid, inbred, redneck, retarded, uneducated. Well surprise far left people you are wrong. The mass move to the right in 2010 should have showed you that pay backs are a bitch. How did calling names work for you? The far right will have the same surprise and maybe the far left in 2012 if "we the people" are not listened to. I am not a fellow tea party person. I listen and I watch and I try to sort the bull shit from all sides and what I have learned is that politicians in general have not learned a darn thing from all of this, but time will time.

Blame

I am tired of the rhetoric of a few fanatic people throwing blame around for the horrible tragedy in Az. Why does it have to be a political reason? If we are going to play the blame game why not the web sites that posted his the killer's rambling threatening statements. How about his friends and family, they had to know there was a problem. Why not the college when they called the police 5 times because of this man. Why not the law enforcement after going to the college 5 times. Where was the 72 hour hold ? Maybe just maybe this could have been prevented. I think Mental health care in this country is in the toilet and instead of worrying about the hassle about health care , we should be actually pin pointing the problems and a major one is mental health.
To play the blame game is irresponsible and it should end with this but it will not. It is time to peal back the rhetoric and grow up people. Any time you need to point fingers at some one else, it is time to look in the mirror and have good talk with your self. Anyone doing the hate spewing towards others is doing a great disservice to the people that died, the people that were wounded and the people that watched the horror of this. Keep them in your memory and prayers. Do not let this become another out of control war between political parties.

Fleeting or timeless

How can something be timeless and fleeting at the same time?
The first kiss is fleeting, the memory lasts forever,

Tragedy in AZ

The mentally unstable and full of hate 22 year old murdered people. He did this to be famous, to be noticed to be special. If this was not so, he would not have been on Youtube telling people he was important, it was a forewarning.
This not about the Tea party, or the GOP, or Democrats. This is about the mentally ill that fall through the cracks. So many of these people that go out and manage to kill as many people as they can. Be it at a political gathering, a high school , a college, at your job.
It makes no difference to me whether he is crazy or not, he knew what he was doing. He planned it, and if others were involved they had better be punished in the same way.
Maybe the rhetoric of hate in this country, the deviousness, the partisan arguing in the entire country, boosted by the media in general, heightened his aggression remains to be seen. I believe it added to the problem. The media waits for any horrendous happening to boost their ratings and then play it every 2 seconds, whether it is conservative or liberal media. They all do it way too much,.I think it gives these on the edge mentally unbalanced people the idea that they can be a in your face wonder until the next horrendous incident happens, their five minutes of fame.

Goodbye 2010

New years eve started out with a small pity party of "poor me who cares if I am alone on New years Eve".As the day wore on it became a banquet of pity.. Finally giving myself a mental shake thinking you can not keep this up. You are not alone you are surrounded by memories some good some bad, some sad. Okay I decided to at least pretend I was having a good time. I made pigs in a blanket, opened a bottle of wine, was watching House. Something was missing. Then the phone rang, my son asking if Eden and Ryker could come over while they went to dinner, mentally grumbling( they did not ask me out). I said sure. Well now I know what was missing . The sound of children's laughter and questions. We watched "The next cooking star' shows.Eden thought they were killed when they lost,because they were "cut". The kids loved the pigs in a blanket and all was good. Pity party was gone. i loved the evening and went to bed thinking all is well in my world. Happy new year.
