As dawn breaks among the clouds

A lonely light shone through the dark
Reminding us that night has not yet ended.
Letting us peacefully sleep unaware of the miracle,
That the glow of sunrise will bring dream's promise,
For all of us if we dare to believe.

Blessed ones,striving for goodness
Wishing their past was less cloudy
Wandering through life wondering,

Blessed ones not knowing
All those small gifts offered
Are as important as the sins

Blessed ones finally seeing
Their time was well spent
Scale of life well balanced.
